    SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CIRCULAR SAW SAFETY WARNINGS 1. DANGER! Keep hands away from cutting area and the blade. If both hands are holding the saw, they cannot be cut by the blade. 2. Do not reach underneath the workpiece. The guard cannot protect you from the blade below the workpiece.

  • Page 8 GETTING TO KNOW YOUR TOE-KICK SAW Unpacking Your Toe-Kick Saw has been shipped completely assembled. Inspect it carefully to make sure no breakage or damage has occurred during transport. If any parts are missing, do not attempt to use the tool until you have obtained the missing parts from your King Cana- da retailer.

    ADJUSTMENTS & OPERATION CHANGING THE BLADE 1. Make sure the Toe-Kick Saw is unplugged from the power source. 2. Press the spindle lock button (A) Fig.3, turn blade until the spindle locks, to prevent the blade from turning. 3. Using the supplied 5mm hex. key, loosen and remove the countersunk hd allen screw (A) Fig.4, remove the blade (B), then remove the rear blade flange (C).

    OPERATION & MAINTENANCE SWITCH OPERATION To turn the Toe-Kick Saw on, first the safety lock button (A) Fig.6 must be depressed, then depress the trigger (B). Release the trigger to stop the tool. OPERATIONAL GUIDELINE 1. Make sure that all guards are in place and functioning correctly before operation.
