4.2 Neuropixels Hardware

All Neuropixels system hardware is delivered preconfigured by IMEC. No further configuration is
required. A remote update procedure is available for the PXIe acquisition module in case an update of
the FPGA firmware code is required.

PXIe Acquisition Module

Continue with the steps below to install the PXIe acquisition module into the chassis:
14. Ensure the PXIe chassis and host PC are still powered-off.
