[4] Refrigerant Leak

WARNING
Do not use refrigerant other than the type indicated in
the manuals provided with the unit and on the
nameplate.
• Doing so may cause the unit or pipes to burst, or result in
explosion or fire during use, during repair, or at the time of
disposal of the unit.
• It may also be in violation of applicable laws.
• MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CORPORATION cannot be held
responsible for malfunctions or accidents resulting from the
use of the wrong type of refrigerant.
1. Leak spot: In the case of outdoor unit
1) Collect the refrigerant in the entire system (outdoor unit).Do not discharge refrigerant into the atmosphere when it is collected.
2) Repair the leak.
3) Repair the leak, and evacuate the air from the entire system
Charge the system with 6.5 ± 0.3 kg of R744.
