Connect the external Ultra-2 SCSI cable between the host server and
RS700.

Power on the RS700.

Configure the Acer RAID controller on the RS700 (for TR/102 and
RM102 models only). Refer to the AcerAltos 3102RS and Acer RAID
Manager User's Guides for more information.

Unlock the drive trays if they do not have a hard disk drive inside (for
TR102 and RM102 models only).
9.
After unlocking the drive trays, the fan defect alarm will sound. Press the
"ENT" button on the Acer RAID controller for two seconds to disable the
error message (for TR102 and RM102 models only).
10. Power on the Host server.
11. Make sure that the SCSI adapter's ID number does not conflict with the
host channel's ID number with Acer RAID controller (default ID is "0") (for
TR102 and RM102 models only).
12. The LUN function of the SCSI adapter must be enabled if users want to
configure multiple LUNs on the Acer RAID controller (for TR102 and
RM102 models only).
