What is the DVB ASI port loop back?
"DVB ASI port loop back" outputs the TS data that is
input to the DVB ASI INPUT connector on the rear panel
of the BDX-N1000, directly to the output connectors DVB
ASI OUTPUT 1 and 2, bypassing all the internal ATM
circuits.
This test mode is useful for checking the status of the TS
input using local equipment, without having to use equip-
ment at the other end of the communication line.
What is the ATM line loop back?
"ATM line loop back" loops back the data that is input to
the ATM Rx connector on the rear panel of the BDX-
N1000, through the optional boards (BDKP-N1001,
N1002, N1003, N1004) and is output to the ATM Tx
connector.
This test mode is useful for performing the loopback test of
the ATM line of the equipment at the other end of the
communication line.
