  • Page 19 Easy Trak II Blood Glucose Monitoring System 3. After the symbol "mg/dL" (or “mmol/L”) appears, press and hold the S button until the "CTL" symbol appears. The "CTL" symbol indicates that the Meter will mark Easy Trak II your current test as a Control Solution test. Now you are ready to apply the Control Solution to the test strip.
  • Page 20 Easy Trak II Blood Glucose Monitoring System 4. Insert the Test Strip into the test port then apply a small drop of Control Solution on to your fingertip. After, place the drop of Control Solution onto the target well area.

If the test result falls outside the specified range printed on the Test Strip vial, repeat the test. You can perform the Control Solution test using any Calibration Code.

  • Page 23 Easy Trak II Blood Glucose Monitoring System 1. Wash hands using soap and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Remove a Easy Trak II Test Strip from the vial and replace the cap on the vial immediately.
  • Page 24 Easy Trak II Blood Glucose Monitoring System 2. Insert the Test Strip blue side up, contact bar end into the test port. The code number will appear followed by a test strip icon “ ” and "CH" symbol. Be sure the code number matches the test strip vial label.

(see lancing device insert for detail instructions) 2. After obtaining a blood sample, place the drop on to the test well of the Test Strip.

  • Page 30 Easy Trak II Blood Glucose Monitoring System Memory storage and Recalling Result Meter automatically stores the 350 most recent blood glucose results with Easy Trak II date and time in its memory. It also provides you with a 14-day and 30 day average of your blood glucose test results.
