Removing and Installing the Power Supplies

This section tells you how to remove and reinstall the power supply
assembly in the CPX2108, CPX2208, and CPX2408 chassis.
Only properly trained service personnel should remove or

install power supplies. Do not touch bare parts inside the
enclosure because of the possible presence of hazardous

energy levels.
Removal of the power supply gives you access to high
voltages. Set the power switch to OFF (O). Set the power
supply switch(es) to OFF (O) where necessary. Disconnect all
power cords from their sources before working on the chassis.
Let the capacitors in the power supply discharge for one
minute.

1. Set the main power switch to OFF (O).
2. Set the power supply switch(es) to OFF (O) where necessary.
Your system may have multiple power supply cords.
