5. Reverse this procedure to install the fan tray.
Do not let the chassis overheat when hot swapping the fan
tray. Install the replacement unit immediately.
This section tells you how to remove and replace a floppy drive, CD-ROM
drive or hard disk drive through the front of the chassis. Note that the
CPX2408 chassis may have up to three hard disk drives.
Note
Install only floppy drives in the bottom drive bay in
CPX2408/CPX2408T configurations.
You need a number 1, Phillips head screwdriver to remove or install
system drives.
To remove or install a drive in the chassis:
Set the main power switch to OFF (O). Set the power supply
switch(es) to OFF (O) where necessary. Disconnect all power
cords from their sources before working on the chassis.
System may have multiple power supply cords. Disconnect all
power supply cords before servicing.
