Misuse

WARNING
Misuse of the pump can lead to dangerous situations
and damage!
ƒ
Never use non-specified fluids.
ƒ
Highly flammable materials/fluids should always be kept at a
safe distance from the product.
ƒ
Never allow unauthorised persons to carry out work.
ƒ
Never operate the pump beyond the specified limits of use.
ƒ
Never carry out unauthorised conversions.
ƒ
Use exclusively authorised accessories and authorised spare
parts.
ƒ
Never operate with phase angle control.

Operator responsibilities

Operators must:
ƒ
Provide the installation and operating instructions in a language
which the personnel can understand.
ƒ
Have all work carried out by qualified personnel only.
ƒ
Make sure that personnel are suitably trained for the specified
work.
ƒ
Train personnel with regard to the operating principles of the
system.
ƒ
Provide the necessary protective equipment and make sure that
personnel wear it.
ƒ
Eliminate any risk from electrical current.
ƒ
Equip hazardous components (extremely cold, extremely hot,
rotating, etc.) with an on-site guard.
ƒ
Have defective gaskets and connection cables replaced.
ƒ
Keep highly flammable materials at a safe distance from the
product.
All information that appears on the product must be followed and
kept permanently legible:
ƒ
Warning and hazard notices
ƒ
Rating plate
ƒ
Direction of flow symbol
ƒ
Labelling of connections
This device can be used by children from 8 years of age as well as
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or instructed on
the safe use of the device and they understand the dangers that
