If your Carrier does not support SIM card phone number retrieval, you can still obtain the SIM card
phone number by configuring the GoIP to send SMS between two GSM lines. For example, Line A
sends a predefined SMS to Line B. When Line B receives this SMS, it knows the phone number of Line A
(the sender). Then it sends back a predefined SMS with Line A's phone number. When Line A receives
the response back, it then can retrieve its own number.
Please follow the following procedures.
1. Enable the Auto SMS Reply located at the top. This parameter is a global for all channels. When

Select the Line that is linked to the SIM card that you want to retrieve its phone number.
Set Method = USSD
Enter the USSD Command as required by your Carrier.
Carrier sends the phone number in a USSD message. Enter the text that appears prior to the
phone number so that GoIP can extract the phone number from the USSD message.
Press
to save the configuration.
Select the Line that is linked to the SIM card that you want to retrieve its phone number.
Set Method = SMS
Enter the SMS Service Number to the one provided by your Carrier.
Set the SMS Content to the format required by your carrier for retrieving SIM card phone number.
Carrier sends back an SMS response with the phone number.
Response must be set so that the GoIP can check the SMS from this CID.
Set the Text before the SIM phone number so that the GoIP can extract the phone number from
the SMS.
