For the last one week the salt in the water softener does not get utilized. I cannot see an obvious block.

Salt may not be utilized in the Monarch Water Solo water softener due to:
1. Brine valve issues: - Brine valve set incorrectly - Brine valve not seating properly - Leak in the brine valve - Rubber band not removed from the float cup
2. Restricted drain: - Kinked or clogged drain line - Blocked backwash flow control - Drain tubing too long or rises higher than 8 feet
These issues can prevent proper brine flow, stopping salt from being used effectively.

The salt block is not dissolving. There is lots of dirt in the brine tank. Can we get a service? Photo shows blocks which have been inverted

To address a Monarch Water Solo salt block that is not dissolving and there is dirt in the brine tank:
1. Salt Not Dissolving: - Check for overdosing of salt. - Make sure the brine valve is set correctly. - Ensure the brine valve is seating properly; if not, replace it. - Remove any rubber band from the float cup if still attached. - Inspect for a leak in the brine valve and repair or replace if needed.
2. Dirt in Brine Tank: - Dirt could come from contamination or poorly filtered water. - Clean the signal holes using a paper clip or compressed air. - Replace components like seals or Level 1 glue if damaged and serviceable.
3. Drain Issues: - Ensure the drain line is not kinked or clogged. - The drain tubing should not rise higher than 8 feet. - Shorten long drain tubing or increase its diameter if needed.
Taking these steps should help restore proper function and salt block dissolution in the unit.
