The user name is admin. The local device password is the one that you specified
the first time that you logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
If you previously managed the AirBridge through the NETGEAR Insight app or Insight
Cloud portal, enter the Insight network password for the Insight network location to
which the AirBridge was assigned (see Connect over WiFi using the NETGEAR Insight
App on an iOS or Android mobile device on page 13).
The Device Status page displays the Device Information section and other sections.
4. Under Management, select Advanced.
The page displays the advanced settings with the Management Mode section at the
top.
5. In the SSH Setting section, select one of the following Status radio buttons:
• Enable. SSH access is enabled.
• Disable. SSH access is disabled.
This is the default setting. If you do not intend to use SSH, we recommend that
you keep SSH access disabled.
6. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved and applied immediately.

Specify a management VLAN

By default, you can access the local browser UI from any VLAN and management traffic
such as traffic from a DHCP server can reach the AirBridge from any VLAN. That is,
management traffic is untagged.
For additional security, you can specify a management VLAN ID so that you can access
the local browser UI from this VLAN only and management traffic can reach the
AirBridgeover this VLAN only. That is, the management traffic is tagged with the VLAN
ID.
CAUTION: The VLAN must be defined on your network, and the DHCP server, switch,
and router to which the AirBridge is connected must be able to reach the AirBridge
over this VLAN. Otherwise, when you change the VLAN, connectivity problems might
occur, and you might be locked out from the local browser UI.
