Ports 25 and 26 (RJ-45 ports only)
These four port groups correspond to the four sepa-
rate physical connector blocks on the front panel of
the Switch. You cannot trunk ports that belong to dif-
ferent port groups.
A trunk can consist of either 10/100 ports or
10/100/1000 ports (fixed ports 25 and 26). It is not
possible to have a trunk containing a mixture of
10/100 and 10/100/1000 ports. Adding port 25 or 26
to a trunk containing 10/100 ports will result in an
error.
A trunk created using ports 25 and 26 can only use
the fixed RJ45 10/100/1000 ports. SFP ports cannot
be aggregated.

Configuring Link Aggregation
If a port is a member of an aggregated link (or trunk),
you will not be able to configure its individual port
settings. All member ports of an aggregated link will
have the same settings, and you can configure these
by clicking the AL link on the Port Configuration
screen. See
"Configuring Trunk Settings"
page
40.
To add ports to a trunk:
On the menu, click Link Aggregation. The Link Aggre-
1
gation screen appears.

01 to 04 that are on the same row as Trunk 1.
Each trunk must not have more than eight member
ports.
Click Apply.
