2.5.1

Bluetooth USB adapter

The Bluetooth USB adapter included in the scope of
delivery is inserted into the PC/laptop and provides a
radio link to components of KTS 350 (KTS 3a Series)
capable of wireless communication.

Troubleshooting

In the event of problems with the Bluetooth radio
link, refer to the information in the separate
instruction "Bluetooth USB Adapter".

2.6 Information on
Bosch Connected Repair
The "Bosch Connected Repair" software (CoRe)
makes it possible to exchange customer and vehicle
information as well as protocols in the workshop.
For this, the testers (CoRe clients) are connected to
a central computer (CoRe server) via the computer
network.

3.1

Intended use

KTS 350 is a diagnostic device for use in the workshop
area in conjunction with the Bosch "ESI[tronic] 2.0"
diagnosis software.
!
KTS 350 may only be operated with the storage
battery of Robert Bosch GmbH (Model: 2ICR18/65-2)
and the power supply unit of Elementech
International Co. LTD. (Model No.: A160-1120500M).
!
If the KTS 350 and the scope of delivery are
operated contrary to the way specified by the
manufacturer in the operating instructions, the
protection provided by the KTS 350 and the
supplied accessories may be compromised.
!
If ESI[tronic] 2.0 and BEA-PC are installed on
KTS 350, then it is always the case that only one of
the two programs can be opened. This means that
before BEA-PC can be started, ESI[tronic] 2.0 must
be closed (and vice-versa).
!
The installation of additional software on the
KTS 350 may impair the performance of the KTS 350
system and the KTS 350 may become slower in
general.
!
The KTS 350 must not be exposed to sources
of heat (e.g. direct sunlight), impact, vibration,
magnetic fields, and excessive contamination.

The installed operating system is
Windows 10 IoT (64-bit).

3.3

Transport

The KTS 350 connecting cables must be removed
for transportation. Also, the KTS 350 should be
transported and stored in the case supplied.
