Switching off the motor
1. To shut down the motor, release the safety bar

The cutter unit continues to run!
2. For transport and storage, place the switching lever
(
E Pos. 3) in position P (Park) so that the blades
do not touch the ground.
Maintenance and care
Danger - risk of injury!
▪ Before all maintenance and care, always switch
off the motor and disconnect it from the power
mains.
▪ The motor may coast down. After deactivation,
make sure that the motor is at a standstill.
▪ Always wear work gloves when carrying out
maintenance and care on the cutter unit!
„ Cleaning the unit after every use
„ Do not hose down the unit with water! Penetrating
water can lead to malfunctions (electrical components)
„ Regularly check the cutter blade for damage

Storing the unit
Danger - risk of fire and explosion!
Do not store the motor in front of an open flame
or heat source.
„ Store the lawn aerator in a dry room.
„ Fold together the bars for space-saving storage.

Repairs

Repairs must only be carried out at our AL-KO service
centres or competent specialist firms.
Professional inspection is necessary:
„ After running onto an obstacle
„ At immediate standstill of the motor
„ When the blades of the aerating drum are bent
„ In case of a defective drive
„ In case of damage to the motor supply cable
„ In case of other damage

Disposal

Do not dispose of old units in household
waste!
The packaging and unit are made of recyclable materials
and are to be disposed of accordingly.
