Operation of the Register

1 Initial Start up
A Be sure that the register is on a hard level surface
B Connect the power cord to an AC three wire outlet
CAUTION It is not recommended to plug the register into an outlet with any other appliances
C Install ribbon (as necessary)
D Install paper roll (as necessary)
E Replace Journal Cover
A Turn Control Lock key to "PGM-1" position
Step 1 Enter Tax Option
Enter time date and periodic total printing option
Step 3 Enter transaction number and grand total print option
Step 4 Press [AMOUNT TEND/TOTAL] key to enter program and for tape readout
B Turn Control Lock key to "PGM-2" position
Step 1 Enter the department function option
Enter discount rate press [-%j key
Step 3 Enter digit lock out number press [RETD MDSE] key
Step 4 Enter register number Press [VOID] key
Enter date Press [CH] key
Step6 Enter correct time Press [X] key
Step 7 Enter Tax 2 fixed percentage tax rate press [R/A] key Enter Tax 1 fixed percentage tax rate or state table tax rate
press [P/O] key
Step 8 Press [AMOUNT TEND/TOTAL] key to enter program and for tape readout
