PROBLEM
The disk is stuck in the
portafilter
The disk does not lower
The tamping has not been
strong enough
The tamping is too strong
The tamping is not level

CAUSE
The portafilter diameter is too small.
The portafilter is conical and the amount of
coffee is too low
The Cube Tamp is not powered on
The support is too low and the portafilter
has not been detected
The tamping force has been set too low.
The support is too low and the tamp
cannot exert enough force
The tamping force has been set too high.
The support is too loose.
The ground coffee is not level before
tamping
The disk is dirty or damp
The display screen normally takes
5-10 seconds to reset when powered on
SOLUTION
Follow the instructions for adjusting
the support, turning it clockwise to se-
parate it from the disk. Press the clean
button to force the movement.
Make sure that the appliance is
connected to the mains socket and
that the ON/OFF switch is in the ON
position.
Follow the instructions for adjusting
the support, turning it counter-clockwi-
se to bring it closer to the disk.
Select a higher pressing force using
the (+) button
Follow the instructions for adjusting
the support, turning it counter-clockwi-
se to bring it closer to the disk
Select a lower pressing force using the
(-) button
Follow the instructions for adjusting
the support, turning it counter-clockwi-
se to bring it closer to the disk
Level the ground coffee before
tamping.
Follow the instructions in the cleaning
section 8.5
Turn off the unit and wait
5-10 seconds before turning on again
