Fingerprint System Boot Authentication
To enable and configure fingerprint system boot
authentication:

Double-click the OmniPass key icon in the system tray.

Click the System Settings tab.

Click PBA Settings, then Enroll PBA Authentication
Device.

Select Enable System Boot Authentication and click
Next.

Enter your user/BIOS password and click to confirm the
password.

Click Next.

A Congratulations screen appears. Click Done.
Fingerprint system boot authentication takes effect the next
time the system is booted up.

Fingerprint Single Touch Boot Feature

This feature allows you to authenticate both the user/BIOS
password (and optionally, the hard disk drive and supervisor
passwords) and the Windows
fingerprint authentication operation at boot-up.
You must register your user/BIOS password and Windows
login password before using this feature or the fingerprint
system boot authentication feature. To register your user/
BIOS password, use the TOSHIBA password utility (see
"Secure" on page
for your system, see the online Help for your operating
system for more information on how to register your
Windows login password.
Depending on your network configuration you may also need
to disable the Windows Secure logon using the following
steps:
