    These operation and maintenance instructions apply to the DESMI SA-pump in Monobloc design. DESMI SA is a single-stage self-priming centrifugal pump with stainless steel shaft and mechanical shaft seal. The SA-pump is further equipped with a semi-open impeller which does not choke as easily as a closed impeller.

    After start, check by viewing the leak hole that there are no leaks. If the pump is equipped with a shaft seal type different from a rubber bellows seal, contact DESMI and ask for an installation instruction.
