Appendix A
Hot Keys
Hot keys are keys that, when pressed in combination with the
Fn key, turn system functions on and off. Hot keys have a
legend on or above the key indicating the option or feature
the key controls.

Volume Mute

Instant password security

The
Fn + F1
instant security. Using the pointing device or any key will
return the user to the Windows
screen. After you select the appropriate user name and enter
the correct password, the display content will reappear.
This hot key enables/disables volume mute on your
computer.
When volume mute is enabled, no sound will come
from the speakers or headphones.
This hot key blanks the display.
