10.6 Overnight Shutdown Setting

Due to the +55 V power supply, the SCC provides the option of overnight shutdown.
In the default settings, overnight shutdown is activated in the SC ("ON"). Thus, the
power supply to the SSM-Cs is deactivated in the SC as soon as the PV voltage has
been < 250 V for one hour. The power supply is activated as soon as the PV voltage
of 250 V is reached.
Upon deactivation of the overnight shutdown, the SSM-C continues to be supplied with
power during the night. This provides the option of activation and analysis of the anti-
theft protection (see section 10.7 "Setting the Anti-Theft Protection", page 54).
Under "Device Set-up...SMUs...Parameters", the overnight shutdown for the floor-
mounted distribution boards can be activated and deactivated.

The overnight shutdown can also be set directly in Sunny Data Control via the SCC
parameters.
Information
Overnight shutdown, and the anti-theft protection described in the following
section, are only available with SCC software version V6.07 and above.
