Warning notices - Structure and meaning
Warning notices warn of dangers to the user or people
in the vicinity. Warning notices also indicate the con-
sequences of the hazard as well as preventive action.
Warning notices have the following structure:
KEY WORD – Nature and source of hazard!

re to observe action and information given.
Hazard prevention action and information.
The key word indicates the likelihood of occurrence and
the severity of the hazard in the event of non-observan-
ce:

Safety Instructions

To achieve the best performance, only use the char-
ging station at temperatures between 0 °C (32 °F)
and 40 °C (104 °F).

Do not place the charging station in locations sub-
ject to high humidity, extreme temperatures, mecha-
nical vibrations, direct sunlight or excessive amounts
of dust.
R
Ensure ventilation slots remain unobstructed/unco-
vered. Do not place the charging station on the sofa,
bed, carpet or similar surfaces. If you do so, the
charging station may overheat which can damage it.

Do not place the charging station on an uneven
surface.
R
Keep the number of charging operations to a mini-
mum to extend the service life of the storage battery.
R
Do not touch the charging contacts of the charging
station as this can damage it.
R
Do not allow charging station to come into contact
with water as this poses the danger of electric
shock.
R
Remove the power cord from the charging stati-
on when not in use. When the charging station is
switched off, it remains in standby mode while the
power cord is connected.
