3. Product description
3.1 Intended use
The purpose of the charging station is to charge the
storage batteries for DCU 220 outside the DCU 220.
The charging station is intended only to be used with
the DCU 220.

Up to two storage batteries can be charged. The sto-
rage batteries can be charged at the same time
1. Insert the storage battery in the slot with the contact
point facing forwards
2. Connect the power cord as shown below.

Operation

Fitting the storage battery
WARNING -- Danger of explosion when
charging the storage battery!
Burns and injury can be caused if the sto-
rage battery explodes from improper char-
ging!

Only use the storage batteries designated
for DCU 220.

Only use the storage battery charging
station designated for DCU 220.
¶
Only use the power supply unit designa-
ted for 1 687 335 046.
¶
Heed the notes on disposal.
¶
Storage battery must not be heated,
burnt, short-circuited, mechanically da-
maged and charged with excessively high
currents or reverse polarity!
¶
Suitable extinguishing agents: water, CO
sand.
