9. Firmware upgrade
Please follow the steps below to upgrade firmware by the FW port on the front panel:
1.
Prepare the latest upgrade file (.bin) and rename it to "FW_MERG.bin".
2. Power off the switcher, and connect the FW port to the PC using a suitable USB cable.
3. Power on the switcher, the PC will automatically detect a U-disk named of "BOOTDISK".
4. Open the U-disk, "READY.TXT" should be available.
5. Directly copy the upgrade file ("FW_MERG.bin") to the root folder.
6. Refresh U-disk to check whether the filename "READY.TXT" has been replaced by "SUCCESS.TXT".
If yes, the upgrade was successfully, otherwise it failed. Please check the file and file name of .bin file
and repeat the procedure.
7.
Remove the USB cable.
8. Factory default should be restored by sending the RS232 command and reboot the device afterwards.
