PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
Open the lid of the appliance by pressing the opening button (11) placed directly
under the lid. Activate button by pressing upwards towards lid.
Open the lid until it locks into place.
o Check that a dust bag is in place (refer to Replacing filters and dust bag
below).
o Check that a motor filter is in place (refer to Replacing filters and dust bag
below).
o Check that an exhaust filter (b) is in place under the cover (a) on the inside of
the lid of the appliance (refer to Replacing filters and dust bag below)
Close lid securely.
Insert the connector (5) in the terminal (4) at the back of the appliance.
Fit the hose (14) to the appliance by inserting the hose connector (17) in the
hose port (13) at the front of the appliance. Turn the hose connector so that the
locking tabs (18) fit the notches in the port, then turn the hose clockwise for 90
degrees.
o To remove the hose, turn the hose connector anticlockwise for 90 degrees
and pull it out.
Attach the handle (15) to one end of the telescopic tube (19), and attach the
required nozzle (7, 9 or 10) to the opposite end of the tube.
USE
Fully unroll the cord (1), plug in and switch the power on.
Press the on/off button (3) to start and stop the appliance.
Press the lock button (20) on the tube and push or pull the tube to the required
length.
When in use, motor velocity can be adjusted by pressing the button for
controlling motor velocity (6). When reducing motor velocity, suction strength
and noise level are simultaneously reduced.
o When the button is depressed, the appliance works at full motor velocity.
o When the button is up, the appliance works at reduced motor velocity.
Suction strength can be further regulated by opening and closing the air vent
(16) on the handle.
o When the vent is closed, full suction is achieved. This is the standard setting.
o When the vent is opened, more air is allowed in, reducing suction power
in the floor nozzle. This function is for cleaning curtains and other light items,
which can get sucked into the nozzle.
The floor nozzle brushes (7) have two settings, which can be selected using the
brush switch (8).
o When cleaning hard surfaces (stone- or wooden flooring, tiles, lino etc.), the
nozzle brushes should be extended.
o When cleaning carpets and rugs, the brushes should be retracted into the
nozzle.
Each nozzle has a special purpose. Try each of them out in different situations to
achieve your personal preferences.
o Tilt the tip of the combined crevice/brush nozzle in the direction indicated by
the arrow until it clicks into place to use the brush function. Tilt the brush
back, if a pointed nozzle is required.
You can lift and carry the appliance using the carrying handle (12). Never pull or
lift the appliance by the cord.
REPLACING FILTERS AND DUST BAG
We recommend that you clean the filters at least twice a year or as required. We
recommend replacing the filters after 4 to 6 months' use, when they are soiled, or if
the appliance's suction strength is reduced.
IMPORTANT! The appliance must not be used if the filters are not in place.
Replacing Exhaust Filter

appliance is a highly effective particle filter – a so-called HEPA filter.
Open the lid of the appliance by pressing the opening
button placed directly under the lid. Activate button

Open the lid until it locks into place.
Detach the cover of the exhaust filter placed on the
inside of the lid of the appliance, by gripping the holes
along the edge with your fingers and pulling out the
cover (see top photograph).
Lift out the exhaust filter from the holder (see bottom
photograph). Clean the filter as described in Cleaning
below.
Replace the exhaust filter in the holder.
Attach the cover over the exhaust filter by pushing it
up against the lid until it clicks into position behind the
