Troubleshooting

Fault
The press machine is not ready for
operation after the Start button is
pressed.
The press machine switches off
during a pressing and the LED is
flashing.
The LED flashes twice then
pauses, the display repeats.
The temperature symbol in the dis‐
play is illuminated.
The press machine does not carry
out pressing.
The LED flashes three times then
pauses, the display repeats.
The maintenance symbol in the
display is illuminated.
The press machine works.
The LED flashes three times then
pauses, the display repeats.
The maintenance symbol in the
display is illuminated.
The press machine does not carry
out pressing.
* Remove the incorrectly or incompletely pressed press connector from the installation.
** Send the press machine to your nearest service partner for inspection and maintenance.
Pressgun 6 press machine with battery
The roller head has not yet touched the press jaw. The press
n
machine has not yet built up any pressing force.
There is a malfunction. The press machine cannot complete the
n
pressing.
Release the Start button to interrupt the pressing.
Actuate the Reset button to return the roller head to its initial posi‐
tion.
In case of malfunction, check the following potential causes:
Cause
The battery is fully discharged or
faulty.
The battery is not correctly
inserted.
The battery is almost flat.
The press machine is outside the
permitted temperature range.
30,000 strokes have been reached
or exceeded.
32,000 strokes have been
reached.
Solution
Use a fully charged battery.
Check it is correctly located in the
mounting bracket.
Use a fully charged battery.
Bring the press machine and the
rechargeable battery to the recom‐
mended temperature range in a
well-ventilated environment.
Maintenance is due.
The safety shutdown will occur
after a further 2,000 pressings.
