    Topfix ® 3 • Montage des Topfix VMS 3.1 • Positionieren der Schablone Um die Position der Montagefüße zu bestimmen, muss die Verkleidung eines Velux-VMS-Moduls demontiert werden. Dies ist notwendig, um festzustellen, wo bereits Schrauben im Velux-VMS-Pro- fil vorhanden sind. An diesen Stellen dürfen keine Montagefüße montiert werden. Das Entfernen der Verkleidung muss einmal pro Installation erfolgen.

    Topfix ® ➍ ➊ ➋ Positionieren Sie die Schablone auf dem Velux-VMS-Profil. Der Anschlagblock befindet sich so hoch wie möglich am Abschlussprofil von Velux. Die Bohrschablonen müssen nun positioniert werden, indem die Drehknöpfe der Bohrschablonen gelöst werden. Danach können sie mit den braunen Kunststoffschrauben an der Seite arretiert bzw.
  • Page 7 Topfix ® HINWEIS: An den Profilen an der Seite werden einzelne Montagefü- ße montiert. Dies bedeutet, dass nur zwei Schrauben pro Montagefuß angebracht wer- den müssen und zwar an der Glasseite. An allen verketteten Montagefüßen müssen vier Schrauben angebracht und daher vier Löcher gebohrt werden.
  • Page 8 Topfix ® Verwenden Sie den richtigen Bit und den Bithalter aus dem Toolkit-Koffer, um die Montagefü- ➏ ße zu montieren. Der Bit-Typ wird von den mitgelieferten Montageschrauben bestimmt. Montieren Sie die Montage- ➐ füße mit den Montage- schrauben. Stellen Sie den Bohrschrauber auf eine niedrige Stärke ein (2 Nm).

    Topfix ® 5 • Endeinstellung der Endpunkte des Motors Die Endpunkte werden nicht vorher eingestellt. Weitere Informationen entnehmen Sie bitte den Montageanweisungen dieses Motors. Becker SMI Motor: Becker Einstellsett SMI-Antriebe (G6002788) wird empfohlen. Rensonmotor 24V: Rensonmotor 24V Einstellsett (S6020342) wird empfohlen. Tipp: wenn die Stromanschluss vor der Installation der Sonnenschutz noch nicht passiert ist, kann ein zeitweilige Kabel gebraucht werden um die Endpunkte der Sonnenschutz korrekt ein zu stellen.

    Topfix ® 6 • Endkontrolle Rollen Sie das Tuch mehrmals auf und ab, um eine einwandfreie Funktion sicherzustellen. ➊ Beim Bewegen des Screens kann ein „klackerndes“ Geräusch auftreten. Dieses Geräusch ist typisch für das System. ➋ Prüfen Sie, ob alle Schrauben, Bolzen und Muttern richtig festgezogen sind!

    Topfix ® 7 • Wartung und Pflege (siehe auch unser Garantiezertifikat*) Das System erfordert nur wenig Wartung und Pflege, aber um jahrelang Ihr System genießen zu können, empfehlen wir Folgendes: • Sollte das Tuch bei einem unerwarteten Schauer nass werden, können Sie die Markise ruhig aufrollen und später bei besserem Wetter wieder abrollen, um sie trocknen zu lassen.

Erkundigen Sie sich bei Ihrer Gemeinde oder der nächstgelegenen Recyclingstation über die örtlichen Umweltvorschriften. Beim Demontieren des Screens müssen Sie die Installation spannungslos machen. Bei der Entsorgung des Produktes müssen die Materialien getrennt werden. Brennbare Materialien und nicht brennbare Materialien müssen bei der Entsorgung des Produktes getrennt werden.

    Topfix ® 1 • Required materials Toolkit: ➊ Plug ➊ ➋ Stepped drill ➋ ➌ ➍ ➌ Bit holder + 2 bits ➎ ➍ Drilling jig Stop plate ➎ 2 • Installing the drilling jig You need the toolkit case and two stainless steel rods to assemble the drilling jig. These rods are supplied as standard with every order and each one is 3 m in length.

    Topfix ® 3 • Installing the Topfix VMS 3.1 • Positioning the drilling jig The Velux VMS module’s cladding must be disassembled to determine the mounting base posi- tions. This is the only way to locate the positions of all the screws in the Velux VMS’s pillar. Mount- ing bases may not be installed at those positions.

    Topfix ® ➍ ➊ ➋ Position the drilling jig on the Velux VMS’s pillar. The stop block is located as high as possible against the Velux finishing profile. Now, position the drilling jigs by loosening the star-shaped clamping knob. Release or tighten them afterwards by using the brown plastic screw on the side.
  • Page 23 Topfix ® ATTENTION: Fit some mounting bases to the side of the pillars. That means there are only 2 screws required per mounting base and those are on the glass side. For all interlinked mounting bases, 4 screws are required and thus 4 holes need to be drilled.
  • Page 24 Topfix ® Use the appropriate bit and the bit holder to install the mounting bases. The type of bit ➏ depends on the mounting screws supplied. Fit the mounting bases by ➐ using the mounting screws. Set your electric screwdriver to a low torque (2 Nm).

    Topfix ® 5 • Final adjustment of the electric motor end-points The end points are not adjusted by RENSON . For more informa tion, go through the installation ® instructions of the motor. Becker SMI motor: Becker SMI regulator set (G6002788) is highly recommended.

    Topfix ® 6 • Final check Roll up and unroll the screen fabric a few times to ensure good operation. ➊ There might be a “crackling” sound during movement. This sound is a characteristic of the system. ➋ Check that all the screws and bolts are tightened properly!

    Topfix ® 7 • Maintenance (see also our warranty certificate*) The system requires little maintenance, but to assure years of pleasure from your system, we advise the following: • If the screen fabric becomes wet by means of a surprise shower, you can safely roll it up and wait until there is better weather to unroll it and dry it out.

    Topfix ® 8 • Disposal of the product Your sun-shading screen is fully recyclable. Ask your local municipality or the nearest recycling station about local environmental regulations. When dismounting the screen, you should first make the installation free of tension. Materials should be separated during product destruction.
