Operation and troubleshooting*

Cause
Wrong input and output bar
connection
Power off
Shaft break
Impeller missing or
blocked due to foreign materials
such as pebbels and shells
Hose adapter very dirty
Incorrect tube connections
Excessive dirt build-up in hoses
Filter material plugged
Air entering from hose connec-
tion
Air remaining inside filter case
Dirty, displaced or distorted O-
rings
Air remaining inside filter
Damaged impeller/drive magnet
or spindle
Water too dirty

Solution
Reconnect input and output bar
connection; dirtiness intrance is
input side.
Turn on power
Replace shaft
motor Set impeller, clean out drive
system
Dismantle hose adapter unit,
clean interior with brush
Check if tubes are entagled or
crimped
Periodically clean
hoses, intake and pipes
Remove filter material, wash
with water from tank
Check if hose connections are
airtight (also see p. 9)
Leave power on; slightly shake
filter to remove remaining air
Control all O-rings if seating at
correct position, carefully clean
them if necessary
Slightly shake filter basis sev-
eral times to remove remaining
air
Replace damaged piece
Clean away dirt
