Self-Closing Manipulation Valve, Type BV
•  f ormountingongaspressureregulatorswith
integratedSSV:
TheBVmanipulationvalveconsistsofarectan-
gularaluminiumprofilewithapressure-compen-
satedpis-ton,whichisinstalledhorizontally .  The
enclosedleverisusedtopressintheprotruding
endofthepiston .  Thus,achambersealedbyo-
ringsisopenedandthegasoverflows . 
Thevalveclosesautomaticallyiftheforceisre-
ducedoriftheleverisre-moved .  Themanipu-
lation valve is fastened by means of two banjo
bolts,whicharedirectlyscrewedinthethreaded
manipulationboresofthevalvebody .
Twodistancebusheswithsealsatthefrontkeep
thedistancebetweenthemanipulationvalveand
thevalvebody .  Additionally,theyprovideaseal
totheoutside .
Forinstallationitisimportantthatthearrowdi-
rections(=flowdirection)ofthevalvebodyand
ofthemanipulationvalvearethesame .
