After the configuration skipping flag is set successfully, the following message appears:
Flag Set Success.

When the EXTEND-BOOTWARE menu appears again, enter 0 to reboot the router.
The router starts up with empty configuration.

To use the configuration in the next-startup configuration file, load the file in system view.
<HP> system-view
[HP] configuration replace file startup.cfg
Current configuration will be lost, save current configuration? [Y/N]:n
Info: Now replacing the current configuration. Please wait...
Info: Succeeded in replacing current configuration with the file startup.cfg.

Configure a new console login password.
In the following example, the console login authentication mode is password and the authentication
password is 123456. For security, the password is always saved in ciphertext to the configuration file,
regardless of whether you specify the simple keyword or cipher keyword for the set authentication
password command.
<HP> system-view
[HP] user-interface console 0
[HP-ui-console0] authentication-mode password
[HP-ui-console0] set authentication password cipher 123456

To make the settings take effect after a reboot, save the running configuration to the next-startup
configuration file.
[HP] save
Dealing with user privilege level password loss when password
recovery capability is enabled
1.
Reboot the router to access the EXTEND-BOOTWARE menu, and then enter 8.
The current mode is password recovery.
Note: The current operating device is cfa0
Enter < Storage Device Operation > to select device.
