Generating the rain cylinder bar

‚ The rain cylinder consists of 10 segments that change
with the total amount of precipitation. The figures
next to the cylinder bar change with increasing
precipitation.
‚ Precipitation up to 25.4 mm (1 inch):
− Each segment stands for precipitation of 2.54 mm
(0.1 inches).
− The rain cylinder shows 25.4 mm (1 inch).
‚ Precipitation above 25.4 mm:
− Each segment stands for precipitation of 5.08 mm
(0.2 inches).
− The rain cylinder shows 50.8 mm (2 inches).
‚ The rain cylinder shows rainfall up to 1270 mm
(50 inches). If the rainfall exceeds 1270 mm, the bar
will be displayed as completely filled.
