3.1. FUNDAMENTAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Fatal injuries due to incorrectly connected spindle lift sys-
tem or unauthorised opening of components.
» Maintenance of the spindle lift system may be per-
formed only by an electrician.
» Do not open the manual pushbutton, control module
or spindle lift column.
» Before starting any work, disconnect the control mod-
ule from the battery and the power supply.
» Check connection cables regularly for damage.
» Do not subject the connection cables to bending or
tension strain.
» If the connection cables are damaged, do not con-
tinue to use the workbench.
» Insert the connection plugs only into the appropriate
connection sockets.
» Use only the battery supplied.
Risk of injury to hands, feet and body due to unrestrained
objects falling and risk of the workbench tipping due to
incorrect loading.
» Wear safety shoes and safety gloves.
» Do not store pointed or other workpieces without re-
straint.
» Do not open several drawers at once.
» Ensure during transport that no objects are present on
the worktop.
» Ensure during movement and transport that all draw-
ers and cupboard doors are closed and locked.
» Comply with the maximum load capacity of the indi-
vidual drawers and storage shelves.
» Comply with the maximum load capacity of the work-
bench.
