7. Faults

7.1. QUALIFICATIONS OF PERSONNEL

See Qualifications of personnel [} 44]

7.2. BATTERY: EXCHANGE OF FUSES

There are a total of six automobile type fuses totalling 40 A mounted on the rear of the battery.
The top three fuses protect the 12 V output.
The lower three fuses protect the 12 V input.
If fuses blow, always replace them immediately with fuses of the same type and rating.

Maintenance work
Check the mains cable for secure attachment.
Check the contacts between the cable and the
control module.
Check the workbench, electrical cables, con-
nections, battery, manual pushbutton, spindle
lift column and mains plug for external dam-
age.
Check all components and screw fastenings on
the workbench for tightness and operation.
Remove external dust and dirt.
Check for damage and cracks.
Perform only external maintenance on the
spindle lift column.
Lubricate the guide slots and glide channels
with a liquid spray containing PFTE. Do not
open the spindle lift column.
Check the battery for electrical safety
Clean the side panels, metal fronts, drawers
and feet with paint cleaner.
Clean the worktop with a damp cloth.
Disconnect the control module from the power
supply.
Use a dry or slightly moistened cloth to clean it.
Block access to the workbench and prevent its
use.
Have damaged components and accessory
parts replaced immediately.
