Using your rollator

5.1
Brake system
CAUTION
Check the working of the brakes to ensure
your safety. The condition of the brakes is
influenced
by
wear,
contamination of the rear wheels and
braking mechanism.
The rollator is equipped with brakes, operated
by two brake levers (7). The brake levers
operate in two modes: running brakes and
parking brakes.
CAUTION
Do not push the rollator too hard while
using the running brakes. This may cause
damage to the tyres or brakes.
• To use the running brakes, pull both brake
levers (7) simultaneously upwards [A] in a
squeezing
motion. To
release the brake levers.
• To use the parking brakes, push both
brake levers (7) downwards in locked
position [B]. Always use both parking
brakes simultaneously. To end the parking
mode,
pull
simultaneously upwards.
5.2
Unfolding / folding
CAUTION
Keep fingers, buckles, jewellery and
clothes away from the folding mechanism.
CAUTION
Check that the rollator is completely open
and that the frame is locked.

5.2.1 Unfolding rollator
1. Place the rollator with all wheels on the
ground while holding the frame tubes.
2. Pull the handgrips apart, and push the
folding mechanism (8) as far forward as
possible using the knob (9). Prevent your
fingers
from
mechanism!
3. Mount the storage bag, basket and tray.

5.2.2 Folding rollator
1. Remove the tray and basket.
2. Stand behind the rollator.
3. Empty the storage bag.
4. Pull the knob (9) of the folding mechanism
(8) backward to close the frame a bit.
5. Close the frame completely by pushing the
handgrips together.
