Installation half cylinder

The half cylinder is not included in the scope of delivery.
Due to the constructional differences of half cylinders produced by
various manufacturers, the locking cylinder must be carefully selected.
The length A (see drawing) should be 30 mm. The housing cover is
designed for the length A = 30 mm (optional max. 35 mm). We
recommend the use of the half cylinder Item no. 028032.
- The retaining clip must be put on the operating switch (see
diagram). The retaining clip protects the switching flag against
damage when mounting the half cylinder.
- Turn the assembly screw (M5 x 16) from the right approx. 10 mm
into the selected half cylinder.
- Turn the "lock lug" 90° clockwise into the normal position (release
position)
- Insert the half cylinder into the cylinder mount of the housing base and
screw down. If necessary attach returning spring to the "lock lug".
- Insert the key in the half cylinder
- Remove the retaining clip on the operating switch
- Test the operating function by turning (key-operated switch) clock wise to the limit.
On releasing the key, the return spring should press the "lock lug" into the normal position. If necessary,
readjust the half cylinder using the assembly screw.

Mounting Alarm signalling device

Attach the housing on the 2 fixing holes on a firm mounting
substrate. To fix securely, use screws that are suitable for the
mounting surface in question. Depending on the mounting substrate,
with or without dowel.
Tighten the screws finger-tight.
Screw the tear-off protection directly to the mounting surface using
the enclosed screw and spacer sleeve. Dowels may be necessary,
depending on the mounting surface.
