Seal the CAULKING joint between the roof and the flashing with roofing compound. For sloping roofs, place the flashing under the upper shingles and on top of the lower shingles.

    OFFSET INSTALLATION If it is necessary to offset the chimney to bypass an OFFSET CHIMNEY obstruction or to reposition chimney towards the ridge cap, do this by using 15°, 30°, or 45° insulated RAIN CAP (VC) elbows. A maximum of two offsets (4 elbows in all) STORM COLLAR is allowed in a chimney.
