  • Page 10: Fiber Optic Cleaning Requirement

Introduction The 8935CF can be populated with any two of the following SMV_SFP (Strap Mount Video Small Form-factor Pluggable) dual transmitter sub- modules, depending on the application desired: • SFP-1310-STRX – Dual Transmitter with 1310nm FP lasers • SFP-CWDM-1 – Dual Transmitter with CWDM lasers (1440/1490nm) •...
  • Page 11: Installation

Installation Installation The 8935CF model consists of a front and rear module set that can only be installed in a GeckoFlex frame. Two SFP fiber optic dual transmitter sub- modules, shipped separately, must also be installed for full functionality of the module.
  • Page 12: Rear Module Installation

To remove a rear module already installed, follow the same steps. It is helpful to first remove the front module so the rear can be pulled out more easily. 3. Before installing the 8935CF rear module, check that the blue plastic fiber optic connectors on the rear module are not mounted too rigidly.
