• Port
The port number of the remote host (destination of connection). If the IP address is not
bound with a socket, an asterisk ("*") is displayed instead.
• State
The connection status of the TCP protocol. The connection state is one of the following
11 states:

CLOSED
LISTEN
SYN_SENT
SYN_RECEIVED
ESTABLISHED
FINWAIT1
FINWAIT2
CLOSEWAIT
LASTACK
CLOSING
TIMEWAIT
Currently not in use.
Waiting for a port to become available.
Although it issued a connect (SYN) request to the server,
has not received a response (ACK) from it.
Has just received a connect (SYN) request from a client.
Currently performing data communication using an
established TCP connection.
Server has sent out a FIN.
Has received an ACK.
Has received a FIN from the server.
Waiting for an ACK response to be sent out to the FIN.
Has received a FIN and is closing the connection.
Waiting for the connection to be terminated.
