E Install the drive chain
• [1] Open chain and feed through the pulley unit (K) and the running slide (L). Do not twist the chain!
• [2] + [3] Connect the driver (H) with the chain locks (H1 - H3) to the drive chain. Make sure that the slide is
positioned in the centre of the rail runner and is on the correct side.
Push the pulley unit into the rail and pull out the chain slightly at the other end.
• [4] + [5] Push the rail runner into the guide lugs provided onto the operator unit. Place the chain around the
chain wheel of the operator. Make sure that the chain is fit correctly!
• [6] Pull the pulley unit forward.
• Unlock the running slide at the emergency locking lever if necessary (see N) and push onto one end of the rail
runner.
• Clamp the drive chain with the clamp so that the chain is at least 0.5 cm away from the opposite part of the
chain in the centre of the rail runner when pressing in the illustrated direction [8] with your finger.
• [7] Fit the chain wheel cover (E + E1) to the operator unit.
