3.
Cut a citrus fruit in half and press the cut end of one fruit half onto the cone. The
juicer switches on automatically when you press the fruit down and the cone starts
to turn. The juicer automatically switches off as soon as the pressure on the cone is
reduced. The cone scrapes the pulp out and squeezes the juice from the fruit. The
juice then flows through the strainer into the juice container, from where it can run
into a glass if the spout is opened. The strainer will retain thick pulp and seeds.
4.
To maximise the quantity of juice extracted from the fruit, press the fruit onto the
cone several times.
After use
1.
Remove the cone/s, strainer, juice container and driveshaft from the appliance and
clean them.
2.
Unplug the appliance.
Juicing advice
Citrus fruit juices should be consumed immediately and never stored in a metal
container.
Citrus juices are ideal for mixing. For example, orange juice can be mixed with
lemon juice for a simple vitamin C boost.
Freshly squeezed juice gives cocktails a particularly tangy twist and flavour. Lemon
juice is also delicious in hot tea and additionally helps to build the immune system
in cases of the common cold.
If excessive pressure is applied to the juicing
To collect the juice in the container, press the spout upwards to close it.
To allow the juice to run straight into a glass or container, press the spout
downwards to open it and place a container under the opening.
