SAFETY & WARNINGS
WARNING:
precautions should always be followed, including the following.
Read and understand all instructions before operating.
Remove the mains plug from the wall socket outlet: if a disturbance occurs after use, if
the citrus juicer is out of use for a prolonged period, before cleaning the citrus juicer, and
before removing and inserting the juicing cones. Always pull the plug and not the cord.
If excessive pressure is applied to the cone while juicing the motor may seize.
Place the juicer on a level surface that will not be harmed by splashes of juice, as
splashing cannot always be avoided. The surface should be easy to clean.
Do not stand the juicer on hot surfaces such as hotplates, or near naked flames.
The citrus juicer is equipped with suction feet. The suction feet will adhere to any
smooth surface; for them to adhere well, the surface must be flat and free of dust or
grease. The suction feet cannot adhere to a textured surface. Slightly moisten the
suction feet before pressing them onto the surface.
Do not affix the suction feet to sensitive surfaces. Some paints or synthetic coating may
react adversely with the material of the suction feet and could cause them to leave
marks.
Never use abrasive or caustic cleaning products, as these may damage the surfaces.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance itself in
water or other liquids.
