Before opening, ensure crate is stable and tilted at least 5 degrees to prevent glass from falling out.
To open, cut any bands first and pry off boards on front of crate.
Before removing glass, check crate and remove protruding nails or screws that could scratch glass.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes and skin protection).
Tempered Glass is very heavy and can shatter while handling. Use two or more people to handle glass.
Handle carefully. A scratched surface, damaged surface, or edge impact can cause the glass to shatter
suddenly into sharp pieces.

Manipulez avec soin. Une surface égratignée ou endommagée ou encore un choc sur le rebord peut faire en
sorte que le verre se brise soudainement en éclats tranchants.

  • Page 3 ® PREPARING THE WALL STRUCTURE FRAME Determine the number and location of skin mounting brackets based on the sides/frames that are being installed. Measure mounting bracket locations based on the corresponding side A skin features. TIP: Use side A as a template to mark bracket locations with a permanent marker.
  • Page 4 ® T-NUT PREPARING THE WALL STRUCTURE FRAME (be sure to use in this orientation) AT POWER PASS-THROUGHS: At locations where there is a power pass-through, the shoulder bolt must be secured by using the T-nut provided. T-nuts can also secure back-to-back brackets at these locations.
  • Page 5 ® PREPARING THE WALL STRUCTURE FRAME Install (2) load brackets on the wall frame, located at lower corners of each glass frame. Hold bracket tightly against the post and tap ears lightly into horizontal trough with a steel hammer to secure bracket. Make sure each bracket is sitting on the horizontal and is tightly against the post.
  • Page 6 ® PREPARING THE CAPTURED GLASS In case the product has shifted in transit, square up the frames after they have been removed from the cartoning. Measure the frame diagonals. The diagonals should measure within 1/16” of each other. If not, square the frame by pushing on the opposite corners until diagonals differ by no more than 1/16”.
  • Page 7 ® INSTALLING THE ACOUSTIC ENHANCEMENT SEAL NOTE: The acoustic seal can be applied to the glass frames before or after the glass frames are installed. INSTALLATION OF SEALS BEFORE GLASS FRAMES ARE INSTALLED INDEXING TRIM ACOUSTIC SEAL SLIT LINE Locate seal and cut to length so seal runs (FEFRCGSA) full length of frame without overhanging.
  • Page 8 ® INSTALLING THE ACOUSTIC ENHANCEMENT SEAL (CONT.) INSTALLATION OF SEALS AFTER GLASS FRAMES ARE INSTALLED Locate seal and cut to length so seal runs full length of frame without overhanging. The seal is ordered in 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 foot lengths to correspond to the glass unit size.
  • Page 9 ® INSTALLATION OF CAPTURED GLASS (Side A) NOTES: The safety glass logo must be in the bottom right hand corner of the glass CAPTURED to be in the correct orientation before GLASS TRIM assembly. Use suction cups to handle all captured glass.
  • Page 10 ® INSTALLATION OF SECOND SIDE (Frame B or Side C) FRAME B SIDE C To install frame B or side C, unlock all lock rods by rotating them outward. TIP: Frames/Sides will not install properly if lock rods are not unlocked. Push lock rods into bracket to keep into unlocked position.
