  • Page 2 ® Pull seat depth lever out (1a) (Optional: Insert paperclip wire as shown in 1b) and slide seat forward. Push and hold two square black buttons near the rear of the seat (2a) as you slide the seat forward and off (2b). SQUARE BLACK BUTTONS Page 2 of 6...
  • Page 3 ® BLACK TAB Put boost knob in the “boost” position (middle knob position). Recline the back and locate small black tab on beige camlock. Press black tab with Prybar until it’s in the groove. Allow back to rock back to upright position while holding Prybar in place.
  • Page 4 ® Remove four (4) Back Shell screws. Push bottom out (8a) and pull up on the Back Shell to remove (8b). NOTE: If chair has a lumbar, refer to page 5 for installing the lumbar onto the Back Shell. When lumbar is installed, center it between the two lower hooks.
  • Page 5 ® Removal & Installation of the Lumbar for Series 2 Chairs with Lumbar Follow steps on page 4 for removal of the Back Insert. With Back Shell removed, the Lumbar Handles can be removed from the Lumbar Pad. Rotate the Handle to 45 (2a), then shift the gap to one end (2b) and rotate Handle to unsnap from Lumbar Pad (2c).
