1.18 OPERATING LIMITS

The system was designed to work in a specific range of tempera-
tures and at a specific maximum flow temperature. The graphic
(Fig. 17, 18, 19) shows these limits.

1.19 INDOOR UNIT START-UP (IGNITION)

After having installed the chiller lines on the outdoor unit, to
commission the heat pump (the operations listed below must only
be performed by qualified personnel and in the presence of staff
only):
1. check connection to a 230V-50Hz power mains, correct L-N
polarity and the earthing connection;
2. Switch the indoor unit on and check correct ignition;
3. Check the intervention of the main switch located upstream
from the indoor unit and in the indoor unit.
The system must not be started up if even only one of the
checks should be negative.

After installation, check for leaks. Toxic gas
could be generated if the unit comes into contact
with a source of ignition, such as thermal fan,
stove and cylinders. Make sure that only refrig-
erant recovery cylinders are used.
