Initial use

Power Supply

The unit is suitable for use with
. four 1.5 V Mignon batteries
(IEC 46 or UM 3 or AA)
. 6V mains receiver
(with 6 mm
minus pole)for connection to
the mains adaptor connection
plug 9 .
Changing batteries
When switching off the radio , the display indicates the word BAT
-TERY for 4 seconds togther with a combination of figures.When
less than 3figures ars shown, the batteries should be changed.
When the symbol Battery empty"
immediately.
Note
Empty battereis may leak and should therefore always be instantly
replaced.
Open the sliding lid,place batteries into position according to dia
-gram (observe correct pole position!)and then close compartment
again.
