Instructions for use
Product description:
CediTEC is a luting agent system for the permanent luting of methacrylate-based
prosthetic teeth in methacrylate-based denture bases. The CediTEC Adhesive
cartridge mixes the paste automatically without producing any errors or bubbles.
The system comprises CediTEC Adhesive (cartridge) and CediTEC Primer.

– Luting of prefabricated prosthetic teeth and CAD/CAM-produced individual teeth
and tooth sections in CAD/CAM-produced denture bases
– Luting of prosthetic teeth in the scope of a repair or extension
Contraindications:
– CediTEC contains methacrylates, benzoyl peroxide, butylated hydroxytoluene
(cartridge), methacrylates, acetone (Primer). CediTEC should therefore not be
used in patients with a known hypersensitivity (allergy) to these ingredients.
– Luting of ceramic teeth
Patient target group:
CediTEC is suitable for use in all patients without any age or gender restrictions.
Product performance features:
The product's performance features satisfy the requirements of the intended use
and the relevant product standards.
Use:
CediTEC should only be applied by a professionally trained dental practitioner.
Preparation:
Checking the accuracy of fit:
Check the prosthetic teeth's accuracy of fit before sticking them in position in
the denture base.
Preparation of the prosthetic teeth:
For an optimal bond, blast the luting surface of the prosthetic teeth with aluminium
oxide (50 μm-110 μm, 1 bar-2 bar). Use a suction device to remove any dust.
Remove abrasive material residues carefully with an ultrasound bath, steam
cleaner or compressed air. The instructions for use from the manufacturers must
be observed and followed.
Note: Observe and follow any further information provided by the manufacturer
regarding the pre-treatment of the prosthetic teeth!
Preparation of the denture base:
For an optimal bond, blast the luting surface of the denture base with aluminium
oxide (50 μm-110 μm, 1 bar-2 bar). Use a suction device to remove any dust.
Remove abrasive material residues carefully with an ultrasound bath, steam
cleaner or compressed air. The instructions for use from the manufacturers must
be observed and followed.
Note: Observe and follow any further information provided by the manufacturer
regarding the pre-treatment of the denture base!
Luting:
1. Applying the primer
Pour a few drops of CediTEC Primer onto a mixing tray and apply it to the points
to be stuck together using the enclosed Easy Brush application brush. The bottle
must be resealed immediately after use.
Prosthetic teeth
Apply the primer to the adhesive surfaces of the teeth and allow to dry for
30 seconds.
Denture base
Apply the primer generously to the adhesive surfaces of the cavities and allow to
dry for 30 seconds.
2. Preparation of the cartridge
Insert the CediTEC Adhesive cartridge in the VOCO dispenser (type 2) or a
similar mixing gun with a suitable plunger. For technical reasons there may be
slight differences in the fill levels of both cartridges chambers.
You should therefore remove the cartridge cap and continue to press out the
material until an equal amount has been ejected from both outlets. Then attach a
mixing tip (type 20) and lock in place with a 90° turn. The material is expelled by
pressing the lever and is automatically mixed in the correct ratio.
Refit the original twist cap to prevent the CediTEC Adhesive pastes drying out
during storage.
3. Application of CediTEC Adhesive
Apply CediTEC Adhesive to the tooth cavities and insert individual teeth and/or
tooth sections directly. The quantity of luting agent is dependent upon the size
of the cavities.
Large quantities of excess material should be removed using a suitable instrument
directly after insertion of the prosthetic teeth. Smaller quantities of excess material
can be removed with finishing diamonds or flexible polishing wheels following
the polymerisation.
Note: The working time as of the application is 4-5 minutes (at 23°C).
4. Polymerisation in the pressure pot
To achieve an optimal adhesive bond, the polymerisation must occur in the
pressure pot immediately after insertion of the teeth or removal of the excess
material.
Curing time: 15 minutes
Water temperature: 50°C
Pressure: 2-6 bar

– Store the primer bottle sealed properly at all times.
– Avoid skin contact with the primer. Any areas of the skin that have come into
contact with the products should be washed thoroughly with soap and water.
– In case of eye contact, rinse well with plenty of water and consult an
ophthalmologist.
– The warranted product characteristics can only be achieved when using the
original Sulzer Mixpac mixing tips as approved by VOCO. The corresponding
mixing tips for our products are all available from VOCO.
Storage instructions and application method:
Store at between 4°C and 23°C. If the material is stored in the refrigerator, bring
it to room temperature before use. Do not store the product in a place where it is
exposed to direct artificial light or sunlight. Do not use the product after its expiry
date.
Disposal:
Dispose of the product according to local regulations.
Reporting obligation:
Serious events such as death, temporary or permanent serious deterioration of a
patient's, user's or other person's condition and a serious risk to public health that
arise or could have arisen in association with the use of CediTEC must be reported
to VOCO GmbH and the responsible authority.

Vorbereitung:
Kontrolle der Passung:
Kontrollieren sie vor dem Einkleben die Passung der Prothesenzähne in der Pro-
thesenbasis.
Vorbereitung der Prothesenzähne:
Für einen optimalen Verbund die Befestigungsfläche der Prothesenzähne mit Alu-
miniumoxid (50 - 110 μm, 1 - 2 bar) abstrahlen. Verwenden sie eine Absauganlage
gegen auftretenden Staub.
Strahlmittelrückstände sorgfältig mittels Ultraschallbad, Dampfreiniger oder Druck-
luft entfernen. Die jeweiligen Gebrauchsanweisungen der Hersteller sind zu be-
achten.

Befestigung:
1. Auftragen des Primers
Geben Sie einige Tropfen CediTEC Primer auf eine Mischpalette und tragen Sie
es mit dem beiliegenden Easy Brush Applikationspinsel auf die zu verklebenden
Stellen auf. Die Flasche muss nach Gebrauch sofort verschlossen werden.
Prothesenzähne
Primer auf die Klebefläche der Zähne auftragen und an der Luft 30 s trocknen
lassen.
Prothesenbasis
Primer großflächig auf die Klebefläche der Kavitäten auftragen und an der Luft
30 s trocknen lassen.
2. Vorbereitung der Kartusche
CediTEC Adhesive Kartusche in VOCO-Dispenser (Typ 2) oder eine baugleiche
Mischpistole mit passenden Kolben einsetzen. Technisch bedingt können sich ge-
ringe Differenzen im Füllstand beider Kartuschenkammern ergeben.
Daher Kartuschenverschluss entfernen und solange Material auspressen, bis
aus beiden Austrittsöffnungen gleichmäßig Material gefördert wird. Anschließend
Mischkanüle (Typ 20) aufsetzen und durch 90° Drehung arretieren. Das Material
wird durch Betätigung des Griffhebels herausgedrückt und dabei automatisch im
richtigen Verhältnis angemischt.
CediTEC Adhesive mit aufgesetztem Original-Drehverschluss lagern, um ein Aus-
trocknen der Pasten zu verhindern.
3. Applikation von CediTEC Adhesive
CediTEC Adhesive in die Zahnkavitäten applizieren und Einzelzähne und/oder
Zahnsegmente direkt einsetzen. Die Menge des Befestigungsmaterials ist von der
Größe der Kavitäten abhängig.
Grobe Überschüsse sollten direkt nach dem Einsetzen der Prothesenzähne mit
einem geeigneten Instrument entfernt werden. Nach der Polymerisation können
feine Überschüsse mit Finierdiamanten oder flexiblen Polierscheiben entfernt wer-
den.
Hinweis: Die Verarbeitungszeit ab Applikation liegt bei 4 - 5 Minuten (bei 23°C)
4. Polymerisation im Drucktopf
Um einen optimalen Haftverbund zu erreichen, muss die Polymerisation direkt
nach dem Einsetzen der Zähne bzw. der Überschussentfernung im Drucktopf
erfolgen.
Polymerisationszeit: 15 Minuten
Wassertemperatur: 50°C
Druck: 2 - 6 bar
Hinweise/Vorsichtsmaßnahmen:
Unsere Hinweise und/oder Beratung be frei en Sie nicht da von, die von uns

– Primerflasche stets gut verschlossen lagern.
– Hautkontakt mit Primer vermeiden. Kontaktstellen mit Wasser und Seife gründlich
abwaschen.
– Bei Augenkontakt gut mit Wasser spülen und Augenarzt aufsuchen.
– Die zugesagten Produkteigenschaften werden nur unter Verwendung der von
VOCO freigegebenen original Sulzer Mixpac Mischkanülen erreicht.
Die entsprechenden Mischkanülen für unsere Produkte sind alle bei VOCO erhält-
lich
Lager-und Anwendungshinweise:
Lagerung bei 4 °C - 23 °C. Bei Lagerung im Kühlschrank das Material vor der Ver-
wendung auf Raumtemperatur bringen. Produkt nicht bei direktem Licht oder Son-
neneinstrahlung lagern. Nach Ablauf des Verfallsdatums nicht mehr verwenden.
Entsorgung:
Entsorgung des Produkts gemäß den lokalen behördlichen Vorschriften.
Meldepflicht:
Schwerwiegende Vorkommnisse wie der Tod, die vorübergehende oder dauerhafte
schwerwiegende Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustands eines Patienten, An-
wenders oder anderer Personen und eine schwerwiegende Gefahr für die öffentli-
che Gesundheit, die im Zusammenhang mit CediTEC aufgetreten sind oder hätten
auftreten können, sind der VOCO GmbH und der zuständigen Behörde zu melden.

Contre-indications :
– CediTEC contient, dans la cartouche, des méthacrylates, du peroxyde de
benzoyl, de l'hydroxytoluène butylé, et dans le Primer, des méthacrylates, de
l'acétone. Ne pas utiliser CediTEC en cas d'hypersensibilités connues (allergies)
aux composants du produit.
– Scellement de dents en céramique

Préparation :

Contrôler, avant le collage, l'ajustage des dents dans la base de la prothèse.

Fixation :
1. Application du Primer
Déposer quelques gouttes de CediTEC Primer sur une palette de mélange et en
enduire les surfaces à coller avec le pinceau d'application Easy Brush fourni avec
le produit. Refermer immédiatement le flacon après usage.
Dents de la prothèse
Appliquer le Primer sur la surface de collage des dents et laisser sécher à l'air
pendant 30 s.
Base de la prothèse
Appliquer le Primer sur la toute surface de collage des cavités et laisser sécher
à l'air pendant 30 s.
2. Préparation de la cartouche
Placer la cartouche de CediTEC Adhesive dans le distributeur VOCO (type 2)
ou dans un pistolet mélangeur de construction identique ayant un piston
correspondant. Pour des raisons techniques, le niveau de remplissage peut
diverger légèrement d'une chambre de cartouche à l'autre.
Pour cette raison, enlever la fermeture de la cartouche et purger la cartouche
jusqu'à l'obtention d'un débit égal par les deux orifices. Placer ensuite l'embout
mélangeur (type 20) et le bloquer en le tournant de 90°. Actionner le levier de la
poignée pour extraire le matériau qui est alors automatiquement mélangé dans le
bon rapport de mélange.
Remettre la fermeture filetée d'origine sur la cartouche de CediTEC Adhesive pour
la stocker afin d'éviter le dessèchement de la pâte.
3. Application de CediTEC Adhesive
Appliquer CediTEC Adhesive dans les cavités prévues pour les dents et insérer
directement les dents unitaires et/ou les segments dentaires. La quantité de
matériau de fixation à utiliser dépend de la taille des cavités.
Éliminer les plus gros excédents de produit directement après l'insertion des
dents de la prothèse avec un instrument approprié. Après la polymérisation, il est
possible d'éliminer les excédents plus petits à l'aide de diamants de finition ou de
disques à polir souples.
Remarque : Le temps de mise en œuvre du produit est de 4 à 5 minutes (à 23 °C)
dès l'application.
4. Polymérisation sous pression en cocotte
Il est indispensable, pour obtenir une force d'adhérence optimale, d'effectuer la
polymérisation sous pression en cocotte aussitôt après l'insertion des dents ou
l'élimination des excédents.
Temps de polymérisation : 15 minutes
Température de l'eau : 50 °C
Pression : 2 à 6 bars
Remarques/précautions :
Nos indications et/ou conseils ne dispensent pas l'utilisateur de vérifier que les
préparations que nous avons livrées correspondent à l'utilisation envisagée.
– Toujours bien fermer le flacon de Primer pour le stocker.
– Éviter le contact entre le Primer et la peau. En cas de contact, laver abondamment
à l'eau et au savon les points de contact.
– En cas de contact avec les yeux, rincer abondamment à l'eau et consulter un
ophtalmologue.
– Les propriétés du produit déclarées ne sont obtenues que s'il est utilisé avec des
embouts mélangeurs d'origine de Sulzer Mixpac autorisés par VOCO. Tous les
embouts mélangeurs utilisables avec nos produits sont disponibles chez VOCO.
Consignes de stockage et d'utilisation :
Stockage de 4 °C à 23 °C. En cas de stockage au réfrigérateur, le matériau doit
être mis à température ambiante avant l'utilisation. Stocker le produit à l'abri de
la lumière directe et des rayons du soleil. Ne plus utiliser le produit après la date
de péremption.
Élimination :
Éliminer le produit conformément aux réglementations locales.
Déclaration obligatoire :
Signaler impérativement à la société VOCO GmbH et à l'autorité compétente tout
incident grave tel que la mort, une grave dégradation, temporaire ou permanente,
de l'état de santé d'un patient, d'un utilisateur ou de toute autre personne, ou une
menace grave pour la santé publique, survenu ou qui aurait pu survenir en rapport
avec CediTEC.
