Defi nitions and symbols used 1.1 Defi nitions The terms used in this manual have the following meanings: "Anchorage system": Safety equipment "Qualifi ed person": An authorized specialist is considered to be someone who has undergone specialist training and has sufficient knowledge in the field of anchorage systems and is familiar with the relevant government industrial safety and accident prevention regulations, directives and the recognized technical regulations of other EU member statesto the degree that they are capable of evaluating the safe working condition and proper application of anchorage systems (BGG 906)
