Bases with a minimum weight of 40 kg and a support tube diameter of 30 mm are
suitable to safely set up the sunshade. Alternatively, a balcony clamp (Ø 30 mm) can
be used.
CAUTION: The base and balcony clamp are not included in delivery
Ensure that there are no objects and persons in the setting up area.
First, screw the top into the sunshade part
Loosen the gear joint with the knob
Align the lower pole with the top pole
Tighten the knob again firmly so that the sunshade cannot fold together again
Fasten the lower pole into the base. Caution: When using the sunshade on a
balcony, the sunshade part should be in an angled position.
Put the sunshade part into an angled position
Move the struts lightly with your hand (to make the sunshade part easier to open)
To open the sunshade part, move the slide upwards until it clicks into place.
Put the sunshade part into the desired position
To tilt, the locking screw must be loosened at the gear joint. CAUTION: When
loosening the locking screw, be sure to hold on to the sunshade part firmly
so that it cannot tilt on its own.
To orient the sunshade according to the location of the sun, loosen the base clip and
turn the sunshade. CAUTION: Be sure to tighten the base clip again firmly after
orienting
Put the sunshade part into an angled, possibly horizontal position
For this, hold the top pole tightly, loosen the locking screw at the gear joint and put
into the desired position
Tighten the locking screw again
By pressing the ratchet lever at the slider, loosen the sunshade part and pull
downwards
Bind the cover together with the straps
Put the sunshade back into a vertical position (if this is not possible, turn the
sunshade part to the interior side of the balcony)
Protect your sunshade with a protective sleeve (not included in delivery)
In poor weather conditions (rain, storms), take the sunshade to a protected area
