    Remove the Insulating Strip from the Remote Control Remove the insulating mylar strip from the battery if the battery is being used for the first time.     Connections Mains Power • This unit was designed to operate with an AC 230V ~50Hz power supply. • Connecting the unit to any other power source may cause damage to the unit. Unwind the mains cable to its full length. Connect the mains plug to a mains socket. Make sure the mains plug is fully inserted into the mains socket.

    Adjusting the Volume Press the VOLUME +/– buttons on the unit or the remote control to increase/decrease the volume. Press the MUTE button on the remote control to switch the sound off. The volume level will flash and the audio output will temporarily stop. Press the MUTE button again to resume audio listening.

    Now the “TUNER” indicator will flash on the display. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH buttons to select the mode (TUNER / CD / USB / CARD / iPod). Press the TIMER button on the remote control again, the timer “VOL-13” indicator will flash on the display.

    CD / MP3 / WMA Operation Playback During POWER ON mode, tap the FUNCTION icon on the unit or press the FUNCTION button on the remote control repeatedly to select CD mode. The unit will start to read the CD/MP3 disc and start playback automatically. • This unit can play CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, WMA disc, 8cm and Multi Section of MP3 DISC.

    To Erase the Program In STOP mode, you can erase the contents of the memory by tapping the /MENU • icon on the unit or pressing the /MENU button on the remote control or by opening the disc door. • Setting a new program will erase the existing one.

    Memory Card Operation During POWER ON mode, connect a SD card to the MEMORY CARD port directly. Tap the FUNCTION icon on the unit or press the FUNCTION button on the remote control repeatedly to select CARD mode. If no memory card is connected, “NO CARD” will show on the display. The unit will search for all available MP3/WMA files, and start playback automatically.

    Charging Your iPhone/iPod Your iPhone/iPod has an internal non-removable battery, the battery may need to be charged if the iPhone/iPod has not been used for awhile. You can charge the iPhone/iPod through the unit automatically under the STANDBY or POWER ON mode. The iPhone/iPod battery is 80% charged in about an hour, and fully charged in about a few hours.

    Presetting Stations The unit’s memory can store a total of 30 FM stations. Presetting allows you to tune in to a station directly. Tune in to a desired station and then press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button. The preset number will flash and the “MEMORY” indicator will show on the display. Press the PRESET/FOLDER/ARROW buttons on the remote control to select the preset number.
