These instructions are intended to guide the technician in the replacement of the
tweeter or midrange drivers in the CT 800 series models.
• Gently lay the speaker down on its back so the midrange head assembly is
facing upwards.
Remove the 4 allen screws from the front baffle of the speaker.

  • Page 2 9/30/2005 - Page 2 • Once all 4 allen screws have been removed from the front baffle, gently remove the baffle from the speaker. • With the baffle removed, the midrange/tweeter head assembly can be lifted partially out of the cabinet and rotated to access the rear of the head assembly.
  • Page 3 9/30/2005 - Page 3 • To replace the midrange driver, using a large flathead screwdriver or the Midrange Torque Driver tool from the 800D series toolkit remove the large silver screw from the rear of the head assembly. Be careful when removing this to ensure the midrange driver does not fall out of the head assembly as this screw attaches directly to the rear of the midrange driver basket.
  • Page 4 9/30/2005 - Page 4 • From the back of the tweeter assembly, disconnect the molex connector from the tweeter assembly, and remove the 2 wing nuts on either side of the tweeter cover.
  • Page 5 9/30/2005 - Page 5 • Remove the tweeter assembly cover, and disconnect the leads to the tweeter assembly and remove. Replace with the new tweeter, and follow the instructions in reverse to reassemble the speaker. If you have any questions, please contact technical support. B &...
